On 11/29/2017 an adult female mule deer’s carcass was picked up by Wyoming Division of Transportation on US191 at mile marker 89.2. This jar was made in honor of her and the unborn fawn she was carrying.
Hand thrown stoneware with painted underglaze imagery. The soft edges and faded transparency of the drawing contributes to the feeling of impermanence. Lead free, food safe, oven, dishwasher and microwave friendly.

Unintended Consequences vessels are a series of around 100 clay jars, each representing a specific ungulate killed on US191 between mile markers 89 and 99 between Pinedale and Boulder Wyoming over the winter of 2017-2018.
